Pencil Point Protector & Shield etc! Fits Standard Size Pencils

PencilThings presents a new, very versatile 40 cent pencil accessory!
It can serve as:

a protector, to prevent point breakage -- as you see in the background image;

a shield to protect you and youngsters from a sharp pencil point;

an easy way to prevent messing up your clothing with graphite or wax color marks;

an inexpensive pencil lengthener -- as in the foreground image of a 1" length of pencil held firmly in the shield. The shield is 2-1/2" long;;

a pencil clip, pressure style, to hold you pencil in place on notebooks, pocket protectors, etc.

a convenient way to keep fresh erasers handy, because it is easy to replace the eraser plugs.

Fits standard size 11/32" diameter hexagonal and round pencils. They will not work with oversize diameter pencils, nor with undersized pencils (such as some of the Dixon and Sanford pencils now being produced in 9/32" diameters). A piece of tape on the barrel of undersized pencils may make them fit snugly enough.
