Highlighting Pencils, Fluorescent by Lyra, Singles

These highlighting pencils come in bright, fluorescent-like colors of blue, orange, green, pink and yellow. They are ideal for highlighting materials you are likely to view often.

The lead is a little softer than, for example, our Staedtler Highlighters. This characteristic makes them less likely to damage thin paper, more likely to go on evenly over photocopy text, and unlikely to bleed through pages in books. Because the lead is softer, one needs to exercise a little more caution when sharpening them.

PencilThings obtained these pencils in discontinued barrel paint and graphics styles. They are made of the same wood and colored lead materials as our 6-Pack of Lyra Fluorescent Highlighting Pencils, differing only in external appearance.
