One day. Oh yes, one day! This is the desk sharpener every true pencil user and addict dreams of, including me. In fact Basque is the only historically non european european country I want to visit and a visit to the El Casco factory is at the top of my list. Just imagine owning and using a pencil sharpener from a country that has its own unique language and customs that has fought off all comers for thousands of years. Basque has outlasted Rome, the Barbarians of various sorts, the Moors and all other comers and from what I hear this pencil sharpener has done the same since the late 1920's when the factory switched over from arms manufacturing to manufacturing desk accessories. Just think right after WW1 and just before WW2 a company saying. "The pencil is mightier than the machine gun." If only companies today would do the same I think we'd have better writing supplies more creativity and less violence, but hey that's probably just my opinion.
